Samantha Arst, daughter of ATPAM member Gregg Arst, inspired and facilitated a partnership between The Good Dog Foundation and Mayor Bill de Blasio’s NYC Mayor Office to introduce therapy dogs to vaccine sites in NYC to help calm the nerves of people about to get vaccinated. Especially meaningful that their inaugural visit last month was exclusive to the Broadway / Times Square Mass Vax site.
Visits are now occurring at vaccinations sites throughout all 5 boroughs starting this week.
