Remembering Bob Reilly – and Request for Assistance

It is with sadness ATPAM announces the death in a building fire on March 15, of Manager Robert Reilly at his apartment in Yonkers, New York.  Brother Reilly was 62-years-old and had been a member of ATPAM since 1988.

Bob worked as Company Manager on numerous Broadway productions, among them: Stones in His Pockets, Colin Quinn- An Irish Wake, Jackie, Defending the Caveman, and A Chorus Line. But it was Off Broadway where Bob really made his mark as a Company Manager. Among the dozens of productions he managed were:  All in the Timing, After-Play, The Syringa Tree, Travels with My Aunt, Two Pianos-Four Hands, The Countess, Balancing Act, Thunder Knocking on the Door, Pete ‘N’ Keely, Those the River Keeps, Trumbo and many others. In recent years, he worked as a House Manager in various venues on Broadway for the Shubert Organization.

Bob is survived by siblings Kathleen and Raymond, a niece and three nephews. His spouse JP Moroney predeceased him several years ago.

Numerous residents from Bob’s apartment building were displaced by this tragic fire. Cash or gift card contributions to help them restore their lives can be sent to:

Karen Tumetly, 120 DeHaven Drive, Apt #330, Yonkers, NY 10703

(Please make payable to Karen Tumetly and note on check memo or gift card “Hawley Terrace/Bob Reilly”).
