It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Patricia Berry. Pat passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 after a long illness.
Pat came into full membership in January 0f 1992 after working as a Non-Member Apprentice Manager on JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK, THE PRINCE OF CENTRAL PARK, and OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY. Pat spent a number of years on the road as the manager of the tours of A CHORUS LINE, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, EVITA, and VICTOR/VICTORIA.
I remember first meeting Pat when she was on the JOSEPH tour as it was coming though Segerstrom Hall, where I was working in the Marketing Department. As I was anxious to get back on the road, I had approached her about where I should be looking. She was gracious and kindly gave me a number of recommendations. I am grateful to Pat for taking the time with a stranger to help lead them on their career path.
After leaving the road Pat served as a Theater Manager, first at the Virginia Theater (now the August Wilson) and later at the Ambassador and finally at the Winter Garden.
